WOMAN ON FIRE
May 26 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm£12
Tickets cost £12 (£9 concession)
This original play takes you into the fiery heart of one of the most dangerous women in history – Mrs Edith Rigby. Ruthless terrorist or impassioned freedom fighter? This dynamic solo-performance lets you decide.
Woman on Fire recounts the turbulent history of the suffrage movement through the eyes and life of Mrs Edith Rigby, a mild-mannered doctor’s wife with a secret identity – that of arsonist, bomber and jujitsu-trained militant suffragette.
How far you will go for what you believe in?
Woman on Fire sheds light on suffragette history and the mystery that is Edith Rigby.
N.B. open to the public but not suitable for children under 14. No filming allowed during the live performance – by arrangement prior to event.
There will be an optional informal discussion after the show with the writer, director and performer (there is no extra charge for this).
